01What cookies and local storage are
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Local storage and caches are similar: they let a website remember things on your device, like settings or files it needs to work offline.
02What oogmi stores
- oogmi-installed (local storage): remembers that you installed the app, so the install sheet stops appearing. Kept until you clear site data.
- oogmi-consent (local storage): remembers that you accepted our policies, so the popup stops appearing. Kept until you clear site data.
- Offline cache (service worker): keeps the app's screens on your device so it opens fast and works offline. Replaced with each update.
- Extension settings (extension storage): which store deals you activated, whether Auto mode is on, and a saved copy of the store list. Kept until you remove the extension.
These are strictly necessary for the Service to work, so they do not need your consent. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on oogmi.com.
03Third parties
Fonts and store icons. The Outfit font and the store icons are served from oogmi.com itself, so your browser does not contact a font or icon service when you use oogmi. (Our server fetches a store's public icon once and keeps a copy.)
Stores and affiliate networks. When you click a deal and go to a store, that store and its affiliate network (for example Amazon Associates, Impact, eBay Partner Network or CJ Affiliate) may set cookies in your browser to record that oogmi referred you. Those cookies are set on their websites, under their cookie policies, not by oogmi.
04Your choices
You can clear or block cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time. Blocking the storage listed above may stop the app working offline or make the install sheet appear again. Blocking affiliate cookies on store websites will not change your prices, but the store may not credit oogmi for the referral.
05Changes
If we add new cookies, such as privacy-friendly analytics, we will update this page first and, where the law requires, ask for your consent.
