01How oogmi makes money
Many of the links, deals and store buttons in oogmi are affiliate links. If you click one and then buy something, the store or its affiliate network may pay oogmi a commission. You pay the same price, or less with our deals. The commission comes from the store, never from you.
02Which links are affiliate links
Assume that any button that takes you to a store, such as "Shop at", "Go to", "Activate" or a store tile, may be an affiliate link. Deals that show "earns a commission" or similar wording are always affiliate links. We earn nothing just because you view a price.
03Our affiliate programmes
We work with store programmes and affiliate networks, including Amazon Associates, Impact (for stores such as Walmart and Target), eBay Partner Network and CJ Affiliate. Commission rates vary by store and category.
As an Amazon Associate, oogmi earns from qualifying purchases.
04Commissions never decide the ranking
We show results by best total price for the same item (price plus shipping), not by how much a store pays us. A store that pays no commission can and will appear as the cheapest option. Commission rates do not change which store we call "Cheapest" or "Best price".
05In the browser extension
The extension follows browser store rules. It never adds affiliate links or codes without you clicking, it shows a note on deals that earn a commission, and on Amazon it only checks prices and does not add an affiliate link inside the extension. Auto mode is off until you switch it on in the extension; when it is on, the extension may activate a deal and try a few codes for you at checkout, at most once a day per store, and you can switch it off at any time.
06Why we tell you
We believe you should always know when someone earns money from your purchase. This disclosure follows the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides and similar consumer-protection rules in other countries.
